The HT Group is currently hiring for a, Jr Systems Admnistrator, position for our client located in North Austin, TX. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as a part of a team to solve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities
- Conducts timely 1st level resolution for incidents using documented procedures and accurately documents issues
- Provides remote and in-person technical support to customers for various technical issues and act as a subject matter expert to end users as needed. Keep customers informed on the progress, changes, and solutions in a timely matter
- Oversees workstation life cycles, installs computers, servers, printers, wireless or other network connections and applications
- Records problem symptoms and information for escalation to higher level support.
- Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, helpdesk management software, and/or internal staff, via internal messaging system, voicemail, e-mail, or in-person communication
- Assists with other IT related technical duties and projects as assigned and needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of Information Technology experience
- A combined 4-5 years of experience with Help Desk Support, Desktop Support and System Administration in a corporate environment
- 2-3 years of System Administration experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Experience with Windows , Active Directory/Azure, Microsoft 365
- Powershell scripting experience
- Experience and knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with Patch Management, Software Distribution, Operating System Deployment, and Hardware and Software Inventory
