Job description

Go Freight Solutions, an independent contractor for Fedex Ground is looking to hire a Jumper. Jumper will start the job at the Kansas Terminal located in Kansas City MO. This position as a Jumpber will assist the driver with the packages. The primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Must be able to use a Scanner ( small hand held computer)
  • Scanning packages upon delivery
  • Scanning packages upon pickup
  • Ensure Manifest count match the actual package count
  • Must learn the SID order - determines sequence order of package located in truck
  • Must learn the process of End of day
  • Must be able to provide delivery time in case scanner does not pick up time of delivery
  • Jumper must ensure the timely arrival of any pickups
  • Jumper WILL NOT DRIVE
  • AGE requirement 21 years of age or older
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Must arrive to the terminal at the expected time.

MUST PASS THE BACKGROUND CHECK AND TEST NEGATIVE FOR DRUG TEST TO BE EMPLOYED. THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TEST.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.25 - $16.25 per hour
