Job description

Company seeks creative, enthusiastic and thoughtful Copywriter. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Edible Garden brand and will be responsible for generating fresh, original content for corporate videos, national/regional 30 second spots, speeches and proofing.

• Marketing support Help repurpose existing written, video, and audio content into blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, etc.
• Suggest new ideas and recognized best practices based on past experience.
• Familiar with SEO best practices and able to deliver SEO-optimized copy within guidelines and update existing content.
• First pass copywriting for mass emails, blog posts, and brief social media posts.
• Able to help develop and maintain a sustainable and effective content calendar for social media efforts.
• Writing for industry specific posts.
• Technical proof reading, emails, articles, etc.
• Video scripts

Selection criteria considerations:

• Polished English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You adhere to formal style, grammar, and punctuation standards and strive to find the words and phrases that best capture an idea.
• Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Adept at switching between multiple tasks typical of a small company environment.
• Well organized and motivated, able to hit deadlines and hold yourself accountable

Business writing experience a plus.

• Very comfortable with online tools to include: Microsoft Office, Wordpress, Shopify, Adobe Creative Cloud, and others.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
