Position Title: Part-Time Junior Environmental Specialist – NAVAIR Support
EHS Technologies Corporation currently has a need for a Part-Time Jr. Environmental Specialist supporting the NAVAIR HQ Environmental Program at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland.
Environmental Specialist Position Description:
Provide environmental readiness program support and services to support NAVAIR HQ Command Operations Group, Facilities, Environmental, and Safety Department (V17). Work supports NAVAIR HQ at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Patuxent River, Maryland, with the majority of work remote in nature.
Duties include: support meetings and working groups (e.g., environmental community of practice); support environmental readiness higher authority tasks; develop talking points & briefs for high level leadership; support research initiatives; develop and review documents; facilitate meetings (e.g., develop agendas, schedules, notes, calendar appointments); share drive management; action item tracking; supporting policy, tool, and training development; and other miscellaneous duties.
Environmental Specialist Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university is required.
At least 5 years’ experience in environmental readiness programs (e.g., DoD) is preferred.
The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
