PE Management Group is a real estate investment and management company that has many properties and business entities throughout the state of California. Properties include commercial and residential real estate. The company also owns and manages several different hospitality and attraction entities.
We are looking for a skilled Junior Staff Accountant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Junior Staff Accountant responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and general bookkeeping for each property or entity. You will run accounting software programs ( Quickbooks ) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expenses and receipts. A successful accountant should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Junior Staff Accountant will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Complete general bookkeeping
- Maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers
- Prepare financial statements
- Assist managers with invoicing and coding receipts
- Complete check runs and mail payments to appropriate vendor
- Assist vendors with payment questions or payment status
- Obtain necessary approvals for invoices
- Consolidate financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all checks were cashed appropriately
- Maintain books for assigned entity/property
- Maintain utility bills for all properties
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel and Outlook, including pivot tables
