SUMMARY

The purpose of the position is to provide for overall planning, implementation, facilitation and monitoring of the Reporting Center program. This position also provides oversight and supervision of the sites Juvenile Justice Case Managers. The Program Coordinator will also serve as a Juvenile Justice Case Manager during their shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Train, coach, and mentor Juvenile Justice Case Manager utilizing the agency and program’s onboarding process.
  • Generate group lesson plans, and monitor and evaluate group activities to ensure the fidelity of lesson plans and curriculums, in accordance with the monthly calendars.
  • Ensure that client and employee related policies and procedures are followed, and report all issues related to the safety and well-being.
  • Track and review client satisfaction surveys and make recommendations for improving program activities based on survey outcomes.
  • Monitors the quality of group materials and ensure that adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Monitor and ensure proper completion of program documentation and client files (Attendance Sheets, assessments, discharge plans).
  • Conduct and document routine milieu observations to ensure proper implementation of service delivery and clinical model.
  • Participate in Clinical Team meetings and Care Coordination Meetings to assist with the development, implementation and review of client treatment/care plans.
  • Conducts supervision with staff to provide support and development; but also to assist with cases and ensure timely completion of case notes.
  • Prepare and submit all paperwork accurately and within the prescribed timeline in addition to be kept in a manner that’s understandable and readily available.
  • Track all expenditure (i.e. client activity, mileage, and other needed expenses).
  • Ensures effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of services and program
  • Travel between all Reporting Center locations for meetings, site evaluations and trainings.
  • Generate weekly schedule to ensure program coverage.
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings with all center staff, region staff; and individual supervision.
  • Act as a liaison between Aunt Martha's Health & Wellness and the community
  • Model healthy and positive behaviors for program staff, clients and volunteers
  • Complete all Core Curriculum training(s) required for this position. Complete on-going training as designated by program requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


WORK HOURS

  • Willing to work varying hours based on the need of the program. Hours may include evenings and weekends at any of the AMHW Reporting Centers.
  • Willing to participate in a rotating schedule to provide supervisory coverage and ensure day, evening, and weekend repose to program staff.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A.), is required. (Criminal Justice or related field, from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred); or HS Diploma/GED required with 8-10 year of related experience working with juvenile justice/at-risk youth with two or more years of experience in a supervisory position is required.
