Kennel Assistant to support our gorgeous
Scottsdale hospital!

Who we're looking for:
A dedicated and compassionate animal lover with an interest in the veterinary field. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys staying busy and can adapt to our patients' changing needs throughout the day.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Provide veterinary husbandry (e.g. bedding, cage turnover, food/water, litter, laundry, dishes)
- Support our patient care team in a dynamic environment
- Assist with cleaning of hospital and grounds as assigned
- Assist with replenishing supplies in all areas of hospital as assigned
- Help collect diagnostic tests and take x-rays
- Preparing and clean instruments for surgery
- Observing and reporting on the behavior and condition of animals
- Restraining animals for examination or treatment for technicians and veterinarians
- Cleaning and restocking the hospital
Basic required qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Calm, professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable time management and problem-solving skills; working efficiently and effectively throughout the hospital
- Multi-task various duties and responsibilities in a timely and reliable manner, with appropriate follow-through and accuracy
- Understand and follow established hospital processes and procedures (i.e. SOPs)
- Able to work well independently as well as with a team
Work Schedule & Location:
- Full-Time (Need help Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat)
- Some weekend and holiday availability needed
- North Scottsdale
