This position is accountable toKids Corner Director / Kids Corner Administrator/ Head of School.

The responsibilities of this role are, but not limited to, the following.

• Aids in all aspects of program in support of Program Director
• Ensures safety and supervision of children at all times
• Maintains cleanliness of their environment
• Communicates and maintains consistent ground rules
• Promotes good rapport with parents
• Acts respectfully toward children, colleagues, and staff
• Directs parent communications to Kids Corner Director and Administrator when necessary
• Creates “special” projects / activities for the children on an ongoing basis to enhance the program
• Assists the children with activities
• Guides and directs children in meaningful fun experiences
• Is familiar with Kids Corner Handbook and adheres to policy within

Jackson Walnut Park Schools, a Montessori pre-school and Catholic elementary school, is looking for an energetic individual to work in our After School Program. The hours are 2-6, Monday-Friday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
