Job description
Seeking a Kitchen Manager for a high volume restaurant in downtown Breckenridge, CO. This is a full time, salaried position and the wage is based on experience, qualifications and work history. The ability to speak Spanish is crucial as 90% of the kitchen employees do not speak English.
The kitchen crew is solid and handles a lot of volume on a daily basis. The menu is pretty much set with minor seasonal changes in the early summer and late fall. All organizational tools and systems are in place (ordering, scheduling, inventory, sanitation, etc) and the kitchen simply needs a leader to continue upholding standards and providing direction.
The proper candidate for this position must:
-be a confident and knowledgeable cook
-enjoy working in the kitchen and participating with executing the prep list
-be able to work the line a couple of nights a week
-professonially work with the front of the house and managers
-possess the ability to organize and execute catering and large party functions
-be able to order goods for the entire restaurant
-be accountable for receiving and organizing incoming orders
-have exceptional problem solving and communication skills
-love to live in the mountains
-have a strong work ethic
-be willing to do what it takes to produce good food
-adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
-understand the restaurant industry but isn't burnt out from it
