Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Knowledge Management Analysts to support NAVSEA’s VIRGINIA Class Program Office (PMS 450) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking candidates to work directly with Navy clients to identify, recommend, and implement best practices for Knowledge Management, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online Implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct client support for Knowledge Management:
  • Encouraging a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative work flow
  • Ensuring that employees are sure of the knowledge management processes
  • Making sure that the right knowledge goes to the right people, and that this information is promptly applied to business activities
  • Helping capture new knowledge with the usage of a Microsoft365-based knowledge management system
  • Providing relevant coaching, training and support to champion a knowledge management culture
  • Formulating executive level briefs to data requests and queries
  • Provide surge support to other team members across disciplines
  • Participating in working groups
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in consulting with leadership and participants to shape the agendas of working sessions and meetings
  • Capturing and following through on actions and project items
  • Assist in crafting responses to leaders inside and outside of PMS 450
  • Manage calendars
  • Create drafts of various documents including newsletters, meeting minutes, and briefs
  • Research policy
  • Data entry
  • Documenting standard operating procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • At least five years of experience related to Knowledge Management and SharePoint, or closely related processes and systems
  • Bachelors degree
  • Superb customer relationship skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, oral communication skills
  • Must be a team player, diplomatic, and decisive
  • Ability to anticipate client preferences
  • Ability to interface with Senior Leadership
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possess problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be competent with Microsoft’s suite of office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required; MS SharePoint skills preferred)
  • Possess the ability to research a variety of topics and summarize findings

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Navy or DOD Knowledge Management
  • Experience with Flank Speed
