Travel Required: 50% (Houston-Market based)

Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Implementation & Training, the Lab Account Manager is a “multi-faceted” operations role; including strategy, analytics, day-to-day operations and collaboration with key stakeholders and functional support teams across Privia Health for the Gulf Coast lab. The Lab Account Manager will play a vital role in the overall maintenance, development and operations within our Care Center for the Privia Medical Group Gulf Coast’s central physician office laboratory.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Act as a liaison between the care center staff (providers and office managers) and the lab staff on various issues
  • Provides administrative lab support for Privia Medical Group practices and internal Privia Health employees by acting as the account manager on call or via client meetings
  • Serve as a point of contact for the lab and our strategic partnership with our reference laboratory
  • Provide top-notch customer service to physician practices to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied on a daily basis
  • Create lab pro formas for potential growth opportunities for new business
  • Analyze new ancillary service lines to drive additional growth in the existing portfolio of practices
  • Facilitate, in coordination with each Care Center, the development and implementation of action plans designed to meet the Care Centers’ strategic plans and key performance initiatives as set by the company
  • Establish user manuals, train Gulf Coast employees on LIS, create username access for employees & care centers while maintaining security and confidentiality
  • Act as a basic project manager for for new care centers coming onboard the lab as well as any lab projects that yield value
  • Provide reporting and develop presentations, as appropriate, to present the status of actionable initiatives
  • Maintaining the lab compendium in the EHR (Athena Health)
  • Track and manage metrics and goals related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, value-based care and customer experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned for other ancillaries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Reference lab or physician office lab experience preferred
  • Lab Information Experience or prior EHR Labaq experience preferred
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Comfort in functioning independently and autonomously and can effectively build a case to effect change.
  • Must provide reliable transportation. Regional travel is expected.
  • Project management experience with the skill to prioritize multiple projects and urgent deliverables while providing exceptional client service.
