The IQD Lab Coordinator position is an integral part of the Ingredient Quality Department (IQD) within Flavor Supply and is responsible for:

  • Point of contact for lab consumable vendor

  • Maintaining vendor list to support ISO certification for IQD, and provides procurement support,

  • IQD Financial Report – Monthly Budget Reporting for IQD

  • Supplier point of contact for lab consumables, maintains secure access to IQD (TEC 9 location), Confidential Labs, secure guest escort service, personnel, and suppliers, sensory panel participant

  • Coordinates IQD townhall meetings, communication, meetings, supplier demos and events

  • Editor of IQD monthly report

  • Responsible for coordinating and reporting Flavor Supply monthly metrics

  • Back up for sample administration and login operations/processes

  • Manage all Travel and Entertainment expenses: Expense report support for both the department and Director

  • Meeting coordination responsibilities

Education: Minimum Associate Degree or Equivalent certification (completion of HS Chemistry courses preferred)

Related Work Experience: At least 3 years relevant work experience including advanced administrative experience

Technical Skills:

  • Data and Systems: Possess the knowledge and skills required to access and collect data via Company approved technologies/databases or the internet. This includes the ability to complete electronic forms, produce reports, conduct investigative research, explain data and communicate results. This includes maintaining current knowledge and keeping up with new releases.

  • Technology/ Tools: Working knowledge of specialized databases, systems, and communication mechanisms (KO Buy, Concur Travel Management, Flex time, E-Time, Link, SAP, etc.). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Etiquette & Protocol: The ability to effectively communicate with others via telephone and/ or in person in a professional and helpful manner while building credibility and rapport. Basic understanding and willingness to learn about diplomatic protocol standards and procedures regarding flags, precedence et cetera

  • Initiative & Problem Solving: Proactively anticipates critical needs and moves forward with solutions with minimal guidance.

  • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality: Handles all information with the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Sharepoint

  • Concur – travel and expense report system.

  • Sensory testing – taste and odor

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
