UES, Inc. is in immediate need of a Lab and Safety Manager to manage the corporate on-site labs and safety functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide analytic and technical laboratory and security management support for daily operational functions.

• Manage, coordinate, and communicate with internal and external organizations and agencies to assist with facilitating the day-to-day operations and space management.

• Develop and document standards for overall laboratory and safety functions. Including all general housekeeping and maintenance, marking, storing, education, tracking, disposal and transmission of all documents, equipment, and materials (including hazardous waste).

• Implement, manage, and maintain a security program to ensure a safe environment, adherence to quality, compliance, security rules and policies in accordance with DOD, USAF, AFRL and local regulations.

• Provides training for all laboratory and safety procedures and protocols.

• Facilitate cooperation and sharing of resources between research and development projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, or math.

• 8 to 10 years related experience

• Experience leading a team and/or function,

• Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

• This position will require US Citizenship.
