Job Brief
We are looking for a contractor to support our electrochemistry team in the mechanical prototyping area. We will provide you with on-the-job training in areas specific to our products and equipment. The successful candidate will get hands-on experience and be able to make an impact in Twelve's mission to address climate change!
This is a fixed-term position located onsite in Berkeley, CA.
What you will do
- Operate test equipment and work with compressed gasses
- Perform part inspection and provide summary reports
- Organize the lab and maintain inventory
- Communicate lab or test equipment issues to the team
- Conduct maintenance of lab hardware
Who you are

A stand-out candidate would show general technical abilities, including but not limited to the following areas:
- Familiarity with hardware and power tools (for example vises and power drills)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize a list of tasks
- Strong desire and curiosity to learn new things
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
