St. Croix Health is currently seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to work at our St Croix Falls, WI location. This position will oversee assigned laboratory staff at all of our clinic locations. The Laboratory Supervisor will work a Monday - Friday day shift schedule.

The Laboratory Supervisor plans, organizes and delineates duties and responsibilities in his/her department and is responsible for the proper performance of all laboratory procedures. Provides services and maintains appropriate knowledge of testing results to care for a diverse population of patients of all ages.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a laboratory that offers an extensive test menu utilizing a variety of platforms to perform over 1 million tests per year. The laboratory fulfills the St. Croix Health Mission to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives by providing precise and accurate collection and testing. Through collaboration with our care teams, we provide complete care to improve patient outcomes for all patients throughout the St. Croix Health System. Education & Licensure:

• Current MT/CLS/MLS (ASCP) certification (or equivalent)
• Baccalaureate degree, BS or BA or HEW, HSS, or NCA certified as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a laboratory
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated effective leadership skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiar with standard laboratory methods, techniques, and equipment
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
