Job description
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN! Temporary 6 month assignment - covering for a maternity leave.
This position is responsible for completing project work assigned by senior staff. Frequently the technician will be asked to complete Lab Service Requests (LSR). The lab work consists of preparing and testing materials, supporting customers, and participation in quality investigations. It requires a well kept lab notebook, an up to date record of tasks and samples. A working knowledge of how to safely use most of the laboratory instrumentation is required.
Reports to: Director – R&D
Schedule is Monday - Friday, located in Vadnais Heights facility.
We will teach the person to operate the specialized weathering equipment. There is no expectation that would possess this knowledge prior to taking the job. We are looking to start and train the right candidate as soon as possible.
