Title: Land Administration Tech
Department: Land Administration
Reports to: Cassandra Rauch
Job Summary
Responsible for setup and maintenance of Parties (interest owners and vendors) in the Land System.
Provide support to the Land Administration staff and other internal/external customers to effectively manage Sheridan’s land assets.
Summary of essential job functions
- Listen to, transcribe, and respond to owner inquiries
- Monitor, log, and respond to owner emails
- Setup and maintenance of parties in EU system
- Mail audit letters, W-9s or respond to 1099 requests when needed
- Research land files
- Research void checks and coordinate Treasury, Accounting, and Division Orders
- Review, assign and distribute mail
- Prepare and issue division orders and transfer orders
- Work directly with the Division Order analysts and Land Administration Manager to resolve complex owner inquiries
- Special projects as needed
Minimum requirements
- One or more years of office or customer service work, E&P experience preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to do detailed research
- Team oriented versus individual contributor
Abilities required
May need to lift heavy boxes of files on occasion
