Our North and Central NJ Market is seeking a Landscape Specialist/Turf Care Applicator. Primary responsibilities will be to manage and oversee turf and vegetative applications on a mix of Commercial, Industrial and Government sites across NJ. This position also requires the applicant to possess the ability to help upsell, build out and grow our turf application division. At various times of the year the applicant will also be required to support other Landscape and Snow Removal operations in the company.

Requirements: Must be proficient and have extensive experience. All Items below are required to apply

o Valid Driver’s License from State of Residence

o Applicators License in NJ Valid - 3+ Years

o Local, State, Government requirements for permitting & Licensing

o Ability to obtain extra or advanced and licensing if needed

o Pass Background Check

o Proficient using a Smart Phone / Tablet – Apps, Maps, Texting

Responsibilities:

o Ensure all jobs are carried out on budge, cost-effective way

o Improve turf operational process and best practices

o Work with Account Management to identify opportunities, estimate and propose areas outside of normal contracted scopes

o Understand all Laws and regulations

o UpToDate on all products and new processes for apply said products

o Excellent communication, organizational and record keeping skills – be able to fill out all needed reports as required by state.

o Must be able to train others and be a great leader

o Experience in planning and scheduling with

o Snow Plowing – F250 / F350 – Plow & Deicer

o General Landscaping – Mowing, Line Trimming, Mulching, Pruning

Other:

o Bi-Lingual a plus

o Ability to use Microsoft Office

Working Environment:

o Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

o Stoop, kneel or crouch

o Use your hands and fingers to handle, feel or move objects, tools or controls

o Talk, hear, see, read and write

o Use a smartphone, tablet or tother device for scheduling
