Our Client, a CONFIDENTIAL Commercial Landscaping firm serving PA, NJ and NY and is based in the Wyoming Valley is ready to hire a Full Time Landscape Supervisor.
Harvis Inc is not a staffing agency, and we’ll connect qualified candidates with the Client for an in-person interview. Compensation $18.00 an hour with overtime available. Working hours are starting between 6 and 7am until finished and can be five to seven days a week during peak seasons.
The Confidential Company is a FAST-paced production-oriented landscape facility. The position is a year-round position as the Company provides commercial property management during warm months and snow plowing and snow removal in winter. The Company needs a working supervisor who can manage multiple crews whether physically on site with them or not. The Landscape Supervisor is a management role including scheduling day to day landscaping labor, motivating crews and addressing issues, providing estimates for new commercial work and scheduling Client work/projects into the existing workflow. This is a working/labor manager position.
Required Experience:
Ideal candidate will have operated all types of grass cutting equipment from zero turns to walk behind or others, know how to perform basic repairs to keep jobs moving in the field, and may be licensed as a pesticide applicator. Primarily manages crews, but will assist with fall and spring cleanups, grass cutting, brush and weed trimming, plowing snow and shoveling. Experience with Hydroseeding and erosion control required. Experience bidding and estimating large commercial jobs is also required. Training will be provided to learn our process.
