Job Purpose:

• The Laundry Attendants will work within guidelines as set forth by corporate policy to help aim for high guest service scores, trip advisor ranking, and guest recovery, maintain liaison with the Facilities Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Maintenance, and Guest Services to achieve the companys objectives, and operate laundering area to clean and dry hotel linens.
• It requires assisting guests efficiently and courteously in all areas and/or other assigned department-related functions while projecting high standards of service and professionalism at all times and nurturing a hotel environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and a passion for providing service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate linens for washer; may be asked to count and record totals of soiled linen
• Inspect and sort stained linens for soaking and/or pre-washing procedures
• Operate washer, dryer, and all laundry equipment per established procedures
• Perform duties of house person meeting company procedures as needed
• Fold, stack, hang and store all laundered linen
• Clean dryer filters daily and all laundry equipment as scheduled
• May assist in stocking housekeeping carts with linens and amenities
• When needed, may perform duties of room attendant, whose job summary is cleaning assigned rooms according to company/brand standards and procedures
• May assist with scheduled inventory or count of linens
• Be constantly alert of any security and/or safety issues and notify the supervisor of any perceived threats
• Exhibit teamwork and cooperation by performing other duties as needed, required, asked, or directed.
• Reports in uniform which is cleaned and pressed
• Attends and participates in daily jump-start meetings
• Required to be flexible working 2nd shift as needed
• Works as House Person and Night House Person when needed
