Position Summary: The main purpose of the Laundry Attendant position is to wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linen for use by departments, and to deliver linen to floor closets daily, while maintaining a clean and well-organized work area. The Laundry Attendant must ensure that linen is clean and available for use by the hotel's departments when needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
The starting rate, based on qualifications, is $15.00 per hour and The Westin will obtain the Jekyll Parking Permit.
Qualification, Education & Experience Standards:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English.
