Meredith Lodging* Laundry Attendant & Guest Services* primary functions are to maintain the ongoing turnover of laundry from our short-term rental homes and providing guest support to evening arrivals. This position includes repetitive movement working in the laundry area.
Areas of Responsibility and Duties

• Follow the prescribed laundering process including washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry
• Observe established policies and procedures
• Follow cleaning schedule to ensure laundry is available a minimum of one day ahead of needs
• Maintain work area and supplies used to perform the job
• Perform guest check-ins
• Answering and responding to guest calls and text messages
• Provide guests all proper instructions and rules for their home, including compliance for local ordinances
• Dispatching maintenance as needed for in house guests or reports made by owners, housekeeping, etc.
• Ensure all guest reservations have the completed, required details such as rental agreement, contact information, and photo ID presented at check-in.
• Perform special projects as requested by the supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Eligibility Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to utilize or learn technology including, but not limited to phone systems, property management software and computer systems.
• Live in the area in which you are applying

Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional environment. This position routinely uses standard laundry & cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, cell phones, and office equipment. All Meredith Lodging employees are required to pass a background check before being hired.
Physical requirements
This job is physical requiring constant movement 90% of the time, including repetitive movement and standing in one location for periods of time. Lifting/moving requirements are generally up to 50 pounds. This position requires the need to stand, crouch, stoop, and bend for 90% of the shift. Normal workdays are between eight and ten hours, but overtime may be needed based on workflow.
