More About the Role

We have immediate need for a Law Clerk I for ongoing document review projects assisting large scale white-collar fraud investigations in support of CACI's contract with the US DOJ, Criminal Division.

The Criminal Division’s Fraud Section plays a unique and essential role in the Department’s fight against sophisticated economic crime. The Special Matters Unit team is specifically focused on conducting filter review on documents and materials obtained during the course of investigations. We primarily are confronted with issues concerning the applicability of attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine, and spousal privilege. Our team operates wholly separate from prosecution teams, as we review potentially privileged materials to determine whether a valid claim of privilege may be asserted by privilege holders.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study
  • Must have document review experience (Relativity experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ MBI clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Relativity, Axiom, and Cellebrite experience strongly preferred
  • Foreign language fluency desired
  • Leadership experience in small team environments preferred

What We Can Offer You:

  • We’ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.

  • Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.

  • We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.

  • We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation’s highest priorities.

  • For over 55 years, the principles of CACI’s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.

Company Overview: At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
