Affton Lawn Equipment is seeking a highly capable full-time Parts Department Supervisor. This position oversees the customer experience within our parts department. Responsibilities and Duties

- Act as the primary contact for customers at the parts counter

- Supervise part time parts associates and ensure an excellent customer service

- Sell parts to a wide range of customers (e.g., retail, landscapers, B2B)

- Lookup parts online from a variety of sources

- Handle customer inquiries and be an expert in Affton's parts offerings and policies

- Develop and execute up-selling techniques and promotions

- Ensure daily operational activities are completed each day (inventory receiving, stocking, etc.)

- Resolve basic customer issues and problems

- Assign work to parts associates and rebalance work based on priority

- Assist with training of parts associates when needed

- Have an ability to conduct other basic counter functions (e.g., selling equipment, writing work orders)

- Work with management to improve overall performance of parts department

Qualifications and Skills

- Prior experience in part sales, ideally outdoor power equipment or powersports industries

- Prior supervisory experience or extensive related experience

- Highly motivated, great people skills, positive attitude

- Self-starter and problem-solver mentality

- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment

- Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Physically fit and able to keep a fast pace

- Experience in a similar service business highly preferred

- High School Diploma. College or applicable technical school degree preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
