At present, the company employs around 300 people at its headquarters in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) and at other locations in Berlin (Germany), San Diego (USA), Austin (USA), Bangalore (India), and Guangzhou (China).
In order to expand our team, we are now looking for a talented
Lead Animator (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Prioritize and manage the teams´ day-to-day tasks to ensure timely delivery within budget and production constraints
- Coordinate and collaborate with production, engineering, and art on priorities and resolving complex issues
- Improve team productivity and quality by setting up workflows and creating tools together with Technical Artist
- Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and mentor the team
- Document and maintain guidelines
Your profile:
- 5+ years of experience in real-time CG industry as a 3D generalist or technical animator
- At least 2+ years of experience leading an animation team
- Online portfolio showcasing your work
- Extensive knowledge in tools like 3DS Max or Maya
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5
- Comfortable with giving or receiving critiques
- Fluent in English spoken and written, German is a plus
