POSITION: They MUST have IVANS implementation/integration experience and multiple years/projects of P&C (Property & Casualty) domain Summary of the role: Senior level BA to act as the lead on the project. Looking for 7+ years of experience as a BA, including serving as the lead BA on large projects. Experience with Carrier/Agency Connectivity and insurance information exchange vendors Experience with IVANS implementations preferred. Responsible to lead business requirements gathering for this project. Excellent written and oral communications. Self-starter with proven ability to take the initiative to accomplish goals, with minimal oversight and direction. Ability to lead and direct the work of supporting BA team members. Experience with Commercial P&C insurance Experience with multiple types of policy admin systems and/or home-grown systems preferred. Experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC Lead BA – - The IVANS project actually kicked out beginning of the year however no progress has been made mainly because the Lead BA originally on the project did not have any IVANS implementation experience. - IVANS or any other Carrier Agency Connectivity system IS A MUST HAVE! Amanda mentioned a company called Vertafore that is a similar product to IVANS. It doesn’t necessarily have to be IVANS just any connectivity system experience is fine. - Lead experience: she is not talking about actually leading a group of BAs. She would like this person to give direction to the data analyst (ex: direction on what system to map to, in what order etc.) They also will be working with other BAs on Amanda’s team. This person will collaborate with the BAs to understand other systems and how/what data will be getting pulled and sent to the new IVANS system - They will have the typically BA responsibilities as well: taking requirements, documenting, templates etc. - ***Though the project started in the beginning of the year – HR said this person will pretty much be starting from scratch, they haven’t gotten to the charter phase yet. From a deliverables perspective it will be from scratch.***
