Koch Investments Group is looking for a Lead Data Architect, Investments to lead the collection and management of investment data through the investment lifecycle. Management of and enabling access to high quality data is critical to Koch Investments Group (KIG) continued success. Our goal is to realize a more data-driven organization that is better equipped to produce the high-quality data we need to make better decisions.

This is a key leadership role that will evolve how we manage, process, define and access our investment data. It is a champion for global data management, governance, and quality. The role is responsible for effectively analyzing, planning, organizing, and leading data, and AI projects in support of the KIG CFO group. This position works closely with the CFO organization, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, and technical resources (internal and third-party vendors).

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Play a role in achieving the Data Strategy to drive business and process innovation
• Build effective partnerships with leaders, using data to effectively consult and influence decisions related to shaping division and department level goals.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify key data requirements and engages team members to acquire harmonize, rescale, and cleans data
• Presents recommendations and actionable findings to stakeholders
• Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize data models and tools into day-to-day business decision making

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience designing, implementing, delivering, and managing end-to-end data infrastructure solutions and elements
• Large-scale data platform rationalization, modernization and transformation experience
• Experience influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers in decision making, while building consensus among groups or individuals with diverse interests
• Demonstrated success leading collaboration and agile projects across a global development team, within a large enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience specific to cloud-native, automated data lakes

What Will Put You Ahead

• 5+ years experience designing, implementing, delivering, and managing end-to-end data infrastructure solutions and elements
• Experience incorporating DataOps best practices into product development processes
• Demonstrated knowledge with: Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Virtualization Platforms, Data Lifecycle Development with ETL/ELT tools, Data Model Creation with collaborative modeling tools
• Understanding of contemporary database technologies and experience automating data integration with complex ERP / CRM instances
