We are currently seeking a Lead LIMS Technical Analyst to join our Information Services team in Richmond, VA. This individual will provide support for our integrated lab equipment and laboratory information management systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Working as the technical lead to support our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project as part of the company’s digital transformation of our Research & Development operations
  • Advising on technical aspects of the software development lifecycle, including technical specifications, system design, and integrations
  • Support cross-team initiatives including prioritizing, requirement gathering, technical design, implementation, and launch phases
  • Identifying innovative solutions to technical issues, roadblocks, and risks that may impair the team’s ability to meet business goals
  • Lead and manage support of Lab equipment setup and integration into the LIMS enviornment
  • Working with a cross-functional team to assist with method development
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and facilitate the resolution of system issues

What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT) or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 6+ years of experience with project leadership or with developing, supporting, or implementing IT solutions
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical analyst preferred
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems, integrated lab equipment, and chromatographic software: Biovia OneLab and/or Labware LIMS experience preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a regulated environment requiring 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
  • DevOps knowledge or experience preferred
  • Experience supporting SQL and Oracle database platforms preferred
  • Ability to communicate across multiple business partners and third-party vendors
  • Experience with application support and web application programming preferred
