Under general supervision the Lead Rest Area Worker will be responsible for maintaining the rest areas according to contract specifications and provide quality training to personnel assigned .

JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Assure cleaning of restroom, cleaning and maintenance of all rest area properties and complete minor repairs
• Accept and implement special projects as assigned
• Valid driver’s license in state residing. Insurable by Tresco’s automobile insurance carrier
• Maintain vehicle insurance, as per New Mexico State Law
• May be required to commute to Lordsburg, Socorro, and Deming in Tresco Vehicle.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

• GED or High School Diploma
• Six months experience in field of facilities maintenance, e.g. carpentry, plumbing, electrical, lawn service, or janitorial.
• Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred

BACKGROUND AND SECURITY CHECKS REQUIRED:

Rate of Pay: $15.75/hour

Hours: Vary depending on the need of the contract.
