To carry out the company mission of creating authentic, memorable entertainment experiences which inspire people within the retail areas of Ryman Hospitality Properties Adhere to the company service basics while providing flawless service to all our guests while promoting the retail products within each location.

Responsibilities:

• Provide polite and courteous service to all guests.
• Provide information about current and upcoming events, while actively greeting and welcoming all guests into the store.
• Actively engage all guests on the sales floor.
• Provide excellent customer service by adhering to all customer service initiatives as laid out by the Store Manager.
• Actively sell and upsell products based on customer likes and needs.
• Learn and know the product collections that are carried in each location.
• Become proficient in the stock we carry to better assist all guests.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining merchandising presentation throughout the store including visual presentations.
• Keep merchandise stocked and the store properly filled and organized throughout the shift.
• Maintain general order and cleanliness of merchandise location and stockrooms.
• Includes cleaning windows, spot sweeping of floors, dusting of merchandise displays, and emptying trashcans as needed.
• Provide the management team with customer comments and feedback about the merchandise, offerings and experiences at our facilities.
• Responsible for being familiar with emergency procedures and responding accordingly in emergency situations, including properly evacuating the retail location, moving all employees and guests at least 300 feet from the building, should an evacuation become necessary.
• Provide operational support including opening and closing the store, distributing cash tills at beginning of shifts, and handling cash-out/close-out processes at the end of the shifts as needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Education

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, and/or cash handling preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess an outgoing personality and an aptitude for sales.
