AWS; Cloudwatch; SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT; SOFTWARE ENGINEER; SPLUNK; Oracle,Data warehouse,cloud migration.

• The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for the gatekeeping of the technical design(or any ad-hoc changes to the design) to deliver AWS cloud solution
• Gatekeep the reviews of tech design specifications, such as class diagram, system integration diagram, deployment view, launch cut-over check list, data migration strategy plan, performance testing plan etc.
• Gatekeep/Conduct code reviews on the deliverables produced from MT team to ensure the quality of the deliverables
• Analyze and review reports from SonarCloud and Snyk, monitor the report trend and quality of the code deliverables, provide guidance as needed.
• Monitor the applications post launch via monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, Splunk etc. to proactively address system performance issue or to facilitate defect fixing as needed.
• Provide guidance to MT developers on daily basis to ensure the development discussion/clarification stay on course of the architecture design and to meet business needs.
• Closely work with other AAMC teams (such as EA, DST, PST, CCoE, and DevSecOps) to ensure MDA project business/technical needs are taken into account as part of the shared services roadmap/development/schedule to ensure that the modernized MDA AWS solution integrates well with AAMC infrastructure
• Work with QA/Security/Performance teams to ensure the non-functional requirements of MDA project are built in as part of the development effort to ensure that the modernized MDA AWS solution fulfills the business capacity.
• Work with PM and product owner closely to identify/mitigate risks, manage issues to ensure the development team stay focused, stay on track to deliver quality AWS solutions.
