Job Description Summary:
Hiring Range from $24/hourThe Lead Technician, IT Procurement is responsible for leading operational activities of the IT warehouse and providing leadership & training to other IT Procurement Technicians.
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
- Responsible for training and providing direction to IT Procurement Technicians working in the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of inventory on-site and in Service Now.
- Assist the manager with development and revision of standard operating procedures to minimize errors and to increase efficiency.
- Track and perform basic analysis of requests
- Serve as singular point of contact for IT Procurement Management to advise on needed inventory or shipping material
- Help ensure IT warehouse is meeting all service level agreements
- Responsible for researching, processing, and fulfilling IT procurement orders received from the end user community
- Working with identified vendors to procure hardware, software, and peripheral purchases for the company.
- Follow up on new and existing orders to ensure that proper information is validated prior to purchase and order processing.
- Coordinate with end users the delivery of new units, track assets within the ServiceNow Asset Management system
- Respond and process IT Procurement request for hardware, software, and services within the defined SLA’s
- Ensure all approvals and compliances are met
- Updating Asset management database in ServiceNow
- Receiving new or returned IT equipment at the IT warehouse and stocking items in the warehouse
- Imaging New/Returned equipment for use in the field (Windows 10 Laptops and Desktops or iOS iPhones and iPads)
- Preparing and testing peripherals for use in the field (printers, scanners, monitors etc )
- Packaging Shipping equipment to the field
- Ordering equipment and shipping materials from vendors to fulfill orders
- Manage software cloud and license keys
- Arrange for disposal and/or relocation of hardware with identified vendor

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working in an IT procurement role, IT warehouse, or IT Service desk role
Basic Qualifications
- Experiencing shipping with major logistics vendor (UPS, Fedex, etc )
- Experience with ITSM ticket management system. (Experience with ServiceNow is a plus)
- Basic hardware knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals in an office setting
- Experience Imaging Windows Workstations for enterprise use
- Experience Preparing iOS devices for use in a Device Management Platform
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to complete procurement requests that meet department requirements
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details.
- Organized with great communication skills
- Intermediate level skill in MS Excel

- Ability to work on a laptop or desktop computer for extended periods of time
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 40lbs
- Ability to climb ladders

Due to some state pay transparency laws, below is the minimum pay for the position:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
