Leadership Giving Officer

The Episcopal Academy seeks a dynamic leader and experienced development professional to join the Office of Institutional Advancement. The Leadership Giving Officer will play a critical role in further developing and optimizing the school's major gifts program in partnership with a sophisticated, successful team of fundraisers.

The Leadership Giving Officer will establish, develop, and maintain philanthropic relationships with a portfolio of leadership gift prospects ($100,000+) with the goal of soliciting gifts for annual priorities, long-term capital projects, and endowed funds. This position will play a significant role in the success of the advancement program through the identification of new prospects and the management of major gift prospect qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship within the given prospect pool.

Episcopal relies on philanthropy and volunteerism from a variety of stakeholders across generations and around the world, including: more than 5,000 alums who care deeply about EA; 900 current families; and a large community of parents of alums, grandparents, and friends who are invested in the school's success. Episcopal is currently in the public phase of a $115 million campaign (Shape Tomorrow) to raise funds in support of financial aid, academic programs, faculty recruitment and professional development, and The Center for Teaching and Learning. This follows on the heels of the Ever Episcopal capital campaign, which closed in 2008 and raised $100 million to build the 123-acre campus on which Episcopal presently sits. The Episcopal Academy raises $7 million annually through The Episcopal Fund and the PA EITC/OSTC program and has raised $65 million for its endowment over the past ten years.
