Summary

The Contract Administrator collaborates with multiple stakeholders to set up new contracts, maintain pricing for all contracts, and ensure all contracts are maintained and updated as needed. You will be involved in the contract process including contract redline modifications, ensuring that final contracts are professional, adhere to company standards, and protect us from risk.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, markup/draft, close, and track commercial contracts including master services agreements, statements of work, licenses, and supporting documents in support of sales teams
• Collaborate with and facilitate cross-team decision-making among the sales, legal, finance, and operations teams
• Explain service terms to customers and internal stakeholders and answers questions about contracts when needed
• Secure necessary approvals and ensure that standard contract terms are followed
• May assist with contract negotiations, including suggesting viable alternatives to lessen the company’s risk and maximize benefits to the company
• Escalate customer issues to management
• Maintain centralized database of all executed contracts
• Partner with cross functional teams to share best practices and improve communication and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in a technology-forward corporate environment
• 2-3 years of experience in contracts or database management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of standard contract terms
• Ability to work constructively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment
• Strong work ethic and passion for excellence

Preferred qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience working in a software, services, or SaaS business
• Proficiency working with Salesforce contracts
• Understanding of data privacy and protection rules / laws including GDPR
