What is the Role?

Our client, a Top 5 Global Financial Group is seeking a professional with strong communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment to be part of their Fraud Investigations Team. We're searching for a Legal Process Representative, responsible for reviewing legal processes received from offices, departments, and U.S. mail.

Location: Remote - Preferable locations for hire – Phoenix, AZ, Denver, CO and New York, NY

Type: Full time Contract - Remote through the end of 2022 with goal of extension (performance based)

Rate: Depending on experience – 2+ years’ experience required

Your Day-to-Day Activities will include

• Determining the validity of the requests and take action as appropriate
• Being responsible for reviewing deceased notifications received and take appropriate action.
• Processing debits and credits to customer and general ledger accounts based on the legal process served.
• Requesting documentation and photos in response to the legal process.
• Handling phone and written inquiries from the offices and individuals outside of the bank.
• Responding in both written and verbal communication form to various individuals in the legal process (i.e: attorneys, customers, office staff, law enforcement agencies, etc.)
• Searching for assets and balance the necessary and/or required restrains.

What knowledge, skills and experience we need

• 2 years experience in a legal process department and previous office operations experience
• Understanding of the legal process
• Experience as a Teller or New Accounts or other Branch operations position
• Understanding of the deceased codes and laws
