Full Job Description
PBHC is seeking a psychotherapist to join our thriving, pleasant, and well-respected practice . We are looking for a full-time team member.
The ideal candidate must be eligible immediately for credentialing with Medicare and function at a high level both independently and as part of a team of clinicians engaged in a diverse array of psychotherapeutic endeavors.

About this position
The psychotherapist will assess and treat the behavioral, psychological, and emotional aspects of the customer's needs, establish with the customer appropriate treatment goals, and review progress towards these goals. Provides individual and group psychotherapy. In collaboration with the other members of the team, supports the clinical model for the clinic.
Direction of others: Student interns; provides clinical supervision to LGSW Social Workers pursuing their LICSW.

What we'll expect from you

• Completes diagnostic assessments to diagnose, identify treatment needs, make clinical recommendations, and establish goals
• Provides individual and group psychotherapy for outpatient, adult and adolescent populations. Uses established therapeutic approaches to meet a variety of mental health needs.
• Facilitates group psychotherapy to include process groups, psychoeducation, and therapeutic skills.
• Completes all necessary documentation to include diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy notes, treatment plans, care coordination, discharge summaries and any other related documentation
• Coordinates care, as necessary, with other professionals involved in customer care.
• Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
• The team member is accountable for demonstrating proficiency in the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
• The team member is accountable for maintaining skill proficiency, including improvement where necessary and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.

Education

• Master's Degree or higher degree from an accredited university or college.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• One to two years in clinical psychotherapy or direct mental health care in a clinical setting in a community clinic, hospital group practice or independent practice. Maintains knowledge of and complies with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes.
• Performs assessment and diagnosis.
• Performs counseling and psychotherapy to assist clients/families in adjusting to mental illness.
• Provides psychosocial assessments of clients/families' situations, including social, psychological, medical, emotional, financial, and other related factors.
• Performs counseling to assist clients/families in adjusting to illness.
• Assists client/family in utilizing relevant and appropriate community resources.
• Documents appropriate information in the client's medical record to provide direction to professional staff regarding the care plan.
• Maintains contact with community agencies to promote the exchange of information and facilitate these services on behalf of clients.
• Performs basic administrative tasks, including statistical reporting and other related duties.

Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory

• Current license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker

Estimated income ranges between $74,880k- 87,360k depending on patients seen; based on a 42-week year which accounts for patient/therapist absence and approximately 4-6 weeks' vacation per year. Full time is considered 20 patients per week, with 36 patients per week the high estimate.

Fully Licensed clinicians become credentialed under the Pinnacle Behavioral Health group with major insurance companies with competitive contracts & reimbursements.

This is a performance-based position and pay varies with patient seen, so the financial take home is equivalent to the work you do!
