Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LISW, LICSW) to develop a PLAY program for Autism at Wright Patterson Air Force Base

We will cover the cost of PLAY Project Certification for this position (PLAY and Language for Autistic Youngsters)

Primary place of performance: Pediatric Clinic, 88th Medical Group, Wright Patterson AFB, or in military families' homes, both on and off base.

Requirements:

• Have a LCSW, LISW or LICSW license in ANY state
• Have a minimum of five years in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting or Autism or developmental disability.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience since career inception working with toddlers and or preschool children with autism spectrum disorders and early intervention theories and practices.

Description:

• This position includes one week per month of travel to Barksdale Air Force Base in LA to implement PLAY Project services. (you will not need a LA license, you can be licensed in any state)
• Conduct interview intake sessions with parents/caregiver providing a supportive relationship and connecting families to additional services.
• Administer established assessments such as FEAS, CARS, Greenspan Social and Emotional Growth Chart and Reel.
• Develop PLAY program plan and curriculum for use by parents in the parent-mediated approach and look for opportunities to apply techniques, principles, and methods.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to document progress and prepare video and written feedback.
• Telehealth is an important part of the services performed. Telephone messages and secure messaging via the internet are communications tools used by the patient and staff to assist in the coordination of care. Duties could include the use of these communications tools on a daily basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
