AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, you'll be under the direct supervision of the RN and within the scope of their practice, the LPN provides nursing care and performs appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients and effectively interacts within patients, significant others, and other health care team workers while maintaining standards of practical nursing.

- Have current LPN or Temporary Practice Permit in the state of Pennsylvania, required.
- Have appropriate nursing practice/experience in behavioral health field (within the past three years) preferred.
- Have clinical experience with the geriatric population, preferred
- Have certification in CPR required.
- Have ability and willingness to accept responsibility and make sound decisions under stressful conditions within scope of practice required.
- Have ability to work intimately with patients, doctors, nursing staff and families of patients required.
- Have prerequisite experience desirable for positions in specialty units.
