Job description
Licensed Therapist will be responsible for providing young adult to geriatric individuals with person- centered, strengths-based, therapeutic supports and clinical interventions that focus on each individual's recovery. Will provide comprehensive clinical assessments and clinical interventions via individual outpatient therapy and group work. Works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Therapist will work primarily with dually-diagnosed individuals.
The qualifications for the Licensed Therapist are a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Education - Counseling, Rehabilitative Counseling, Social Work, or closely related discipline. Candidate needs to have experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental health and/or substance use disorders. Mental health licensure (LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, LCSW-A) is required. A dual SA license is preferred (LCAS/LCAS-A), agency will help selected candidate obtain this license, if needed. Must have experience in a range of evidence-based treatment models. Familiarity with co-occurring behavioral health, substance use and chronic health conditions is needed for this position. Supervision is available onsite with an LCSW.
