An all-day restaurant housed in German Villages historic Sycamore Cafe.
Overview:
Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual yet elegant environment. For this position, we are seeking vigorous individuals that can adapt to a positive work environment and that can deliver extraordinary customer service with passion and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares food items by chopping, cutting, and mixing.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, along with other cooking methods to follow to specific recipes and standards.
- Adhering to proper food handling and kitchen equipment usage protocols.
- Monitor food product and labeling. Rotating product to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to multitask in a high volume environment.
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional verbal communication
- Must be 18 to apply
- 2-3 years restaurant kitchen experience required
- Culinary Arts Certificate preferred
- Serve Safe Certificate preferred
