Come see why our team loves work at Toasters Deli. We are a small restaurant located in the heart of Hillsville, just one block off Main Street. We are expanding our team and need an enthusiastic line cook.

Is Toasters right for you? The ideal candidate will:

• Be customer focused - our sandwiches are custom-made-to-order with lots of mods, you must be able to handle multiple orders with a high degree of accuracy;
• Work with urgency - one ticket or twenty, we work fast
• Must be able to accept feedback and use it to improve (thick-skinned) - we are a small, tightknit team, we all make mistakes, and we are always improving - we give each other constant feedback;
• Work clean - keep your workstation, the kitchen and the restaurant clean;
• Have 1-2 years experience working in a restaurant kitchen
• Be able to read and follow an order ticket, recipe, list, instructions, invoice, etc. - reading is required in our kitchen;
• Be hands on and willing to jump in and try - again, we are a small team, you can't wait for someone to tell you what to do

If you don't have any experience, but you have a solid work history, you are a go getter, love food, you can work any schedule, always show up for work, and you're wanting to do something new, stop by and ask to speak with Joe. Someone gave us a chance once too.
