NOW HIRING: LINE COOK/PREP COOK

We are hiring a hospitality-driven, dynamic, organized & versatile cook to join our hospitality team amid the bustle of our farm, cidery, taproom and eatery in Interlaken, NY (on Cayuga Lake near Ithaca and Trumansburg). This is a full time year round role. You will be working within the greater hospitality crew but with a primary focus on food service and food preparation.

Summary

Full time, year round. Starting Winter 2023

Schedule: Up to 5 shifts/week. Must be available for day shifts, and at least one weekend day (preferably both), kitchen team meetings, certain holiday weekends and some evening shifts.

Compensation: Average $18-24/hour, compensation dependent on experience

Job Details

The versatile line/prep cook will be an energetic, highly organized, food-safe individual with a love of the FLX region and the culinary bounty. We are looking for folks to join our team following the direction of Hospitality Team Leadership and Executive Chef

The successful applicant will lead in food service & prep areas. In addition to learning the flow of our food service system, this team member will help guide other hospitality team members in food service with varying skill levels. We are looking for strong leadership personalities to continue to cultivate an inclusive environment and ultimately continue the fun, eclectic Cider House vibe that our local guests and tourists love.

Occasional events may be required of this role. Cider House staff maintain a high standard for personal cleanliness and adhere to our dress code of the business. This job requires maintaining professional standards of hospitality through demeanor and respect for all. We need a team player that can stay on their toes.
