Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Department.
Follows load schedules and ensures a smooth workflow.
Co-ordinates the staging area.
Organizes special packaging.
Loads trucks.
Performs various operations in the department as required.

Basic ability to read and write English
Must be at least 18 years of age
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as a part of a team. Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Job Factors/Work Environments
Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required. Also must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer in overtime situations to meet customer demand. Heavy loads must be team-lifted. A work pace that maintains integrity of make-to-order system is required.
Safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement. Work environment includes a clean and safe work area and exposure to high noise decibels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn for any hazards and is supplied by the company.

SUPERVISED BY: Plant Supervisor or the Plant Operations Manager. May receive direction from the Department Lead
