As a Loan Operations Assistant you will:
- Maintains educational and professional expertise by completion of relevant on-line or in-house training, and/or through attendance at job related seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Maintains confidentiality of customer account information. Follows established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.
- Ensure the necessary actions/corrections are made to accounts to resolve Credit Bureau disputes, complaints and inquires.
- In a timely manner, reviews all new loans, modifications and change in terms agreements to ensure documentation was prepared as instructed and that accurate information is reflected in the loan customer information system.
- Carefully reviews all variable rate loan information and review dates to ensure system data matches documentation.
- Carefully reviews all escrow input for correct coding and payment information, and compares insurance and tax disclosure information with system.
- Reviews system coding on all lines of credit and other loans.
- Processes paid loans by checking and releasing collateral as appropriate, reporting accurate information to credit bureaus and returning paid documents to customer within established time frame.
- Determine and distribute any documents that will need to be corrected or re-imaged.
- Document all errors found on new loan edit; copy for processors as necessary and report errors to appropriate supervisors as directed.
- Log errors found on Documents and New Loan Edit report by processor; periodically send to processors and supervisor to address corrections; review corrections that have been made to ensure accuracy; update log to indicate that error is corrected.
- Place exceptions for missing signatures, missing documents, documents needing correction and approval requirements.
- Keep log of all exceptions that have been placed and track which items are still outstanding.
- Receive exception items from loan officers and loan administrative assistants. When necessary, clear the exception and image into Synergy.
- Renew farm product notices.
- File extensions of UCC when applicable.
