Loan Support Supervisor / City National Bank


This Position Qualifies for a Sign on Bonus of $1000.00

($100.00 pays at completion of initial two-week training, $400.00 after 90 days of employment and $500.00 after 180 days of employment.)


The Loan Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of the loan support team and their processes.

This individual will coach team members in providing efficient, effective and accurate performance of the loan accounting process including but not limited to; the review of loan files, the processing of loan transactions, and the reconciliation of the general ledger. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task while supervising other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to -day operations of the Loan Support team.
  • Responsible for the supervision and management of staff including assigning & approving work, and performance management.
  • Lead the team’s work flow of all loans. Reviewing and updating loan documentation while ensuring that deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develops, implements and monitors task responsibilities to ensure proficiency throughout the entire loan administrative process.
  • Loan Support Team duties include:
    • The review, uploading and funding of loans
    • General ledger reconciliation
    • The review and maintenance of insurance documents based upon required coverage for the loan
    • The filing and releasing of loan documents, mortgages, liens and UCCs
    • The processing of loan transactions
  • The Loan Support Supervisor must be able to provide exceptional customer service internally and externally to resolve issues promptly and effectively using proficient communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 2+ years loan and/or accounting experience.
  • Preferably 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of banking practices, policies, operations, products, services and regulations
  • Ability to read and analyze financial data
  • Ability to make independent judgments and maintain discretion
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Possess a dedication to meeting strict deadlines and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of customers and personnel
  • Strong organizational skills with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while managing a team environment
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and prioritization skills
