Local Route Driver - Class A CDL - Airgas Dry Ice

• Location - Santa Fe Springs, CA (Union Facility)
• Pay Rate - $25.80/hr -w/ Hazmat and Tanker (CO2 Tanker Pool based on availability)
• Local Deliveries - 8 to 10 Stops per day
• Shifts Available - 5 day work week, opportunity for OT hours/ 6th day of work
• We have AM and PM openings, AM Start times between 2am - 4am, PM start times between 12pm - 2pm, Tues-Sat, Sun- Thurs
• Drivers average 50 hours/week

• Drive Cam in trucks.
• No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.
• Zero tolerance for cell and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Class-A Route Driver position will deliver products to Airgas Distribution sites which include (Sylmar, CA and San Diego, CA) on a scheduled route or intermittently. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a Mobile load manifest and obtains. Listens to and resolves service inquires and complaints. Engage in loading/unloading truck procedures. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance, and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner.

Check out the Minimum Requirements below:

• At least 21 years old
• Class A CDL with at least 1 years’ CMV experience — experience must be within the last 4 years
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required
• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for “Failure to pay child support”
• No DUI in the last 7 years
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
