System One is currently seeking a Lockout Tagout Manager for a permanent position located in Marinette, WI.

This Lockout Tagout Manager is responsible for leading a crew of skilled trade personnel in the management and execution of procedures and control documents to mitigate hazards related to shutting down equipment, isolation from energy source(s), and preventing the release of potentially hazardous energy while manufacturing, maintenance and servicing activities are being performed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, assign, and direct the work of the LOTO+ Coordinators to identify lockout points using the applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing instrumentation drawing.
  • Understand and work within the union contract requirements.
  • Abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with trade managers to provide LOTO+ support during scheduled overtime.
  • Review, revise, and implement lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Hire, train, and develop the best LOTO+ Coordinators.
  • Conduct organizational annual training.
  • Perform system audit IAW local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Lead, direct, coach and appraise employee performance, reward and discipline, address complaints, and resolve problems in accordance with Company processes, policies, and procedures

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    In this role the LOTO+ Supervisor will report to the Production Manager and directly supervise and interact with 3 to 6 LOTO+ Coordinator employees in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Demonstrates leadership skills that align with the mission, vision, and values of the Company.

SKILLS

  • Possess a familiarity with OSHA construction regulations and lockout requirements.
  • Read and understand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing instrumentation drawings.
  • In depth knowledge of and background in 29 CFR 1910.147
  • Knowledge of Navy Tag out User's Manual (TUMS)
  • Must be able to wear a respiratory protection
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills. Ability to use and/or learn computer systems such as BAAN and EVMS.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Embrace teamwork and collaboration.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in either construction management or relevant Engineering discipline, an undergraduate degree, or High School diploma with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience at heavy construction sites with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience or proven progressive responsibility in a construction or manufacturing environment is required.
  • Possess OSHA 10-hour safety certification
  • CPR qualification or the ability to receive this certification is required
