A Medical Center Midland,MI is searching for a locum advanced practice provider to assist with overnight shifts covering trauma surgery, general surgery, and urology surgical patients.

Duties to include:

• Assist with coverage in our surgical services, including managing patient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, and urology
• Act as hospital wide first call for all inpatient surgical services (general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, urology and colorectal surgery).

The trauma/General surgery census averages 23 patients. With the addition of the other services that the nighttime position covers/triages issues over nights (colorectal, urology, ortho, neurosurgery) the census can get up to 35-40 pts. However, not all patients require attention/rounding overnight.

• 50 case logs within 12 months - Required

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
