JOB DESCRIPTION

Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY: A Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication and coordination between production, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply process.

RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES:

1. Company Logistics

a. Receive, schedule, and manage client orders.

b. Schedule and manage harvesting logistics.

c. Schedule and manage internal truck routing.

d. Coordinate with outside transportation providers.

e. Ensure efficient logistics between all touchpoints.

2. Administrative

a. Collect payment from clients.

b. Process orders upon completion.

c. Assist Office Manager with requests related to client orders and company needs.

d. Keep company SOP’s up to date.

3. Provide WOW! Customer Service

a. Ensure excellent communication between production, sales, and distribution stages.

b. Answer client needs promptly.

c. Participate in our positive company culture.

d. Assist other employees involved in company logistics.

e. Answer incoming calls from unknown numbers with script.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Minimum Education Required: High School Degree (College degree a plus).

2. Minimum Experience Required: Two years of experience working in logistics.

3. Computer Skills Required: Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

4. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

5. Ability to identify priorities and properly utilize time to complete projects and tasks.

6. Ability to carry out assignments with no supervision.

7. Effective communication with clients, partners, and team members.

8. Strong Emotional Intelligence (Emotional Intelligence describes a person’s ability to understand his or her own emotions and the emotions of others and to act appropriately based on this understanding. Good Emotional Intelligence is an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of oneself, of others, and of groups. It is about having empathy for others. Pay: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
