Customer Service Representative (Chem/Oil/Gas)

The Company:

Our client is an international chemical manufacturer. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team at their League City, TX location.

This position is temp to hire and pays $25-$27/hr, depending on experience. This role does have access to optional Meador Benefits during the TEMP period. Once hired permanently, this role will have access to full Client Benefits!

This role is strictly M-F, no weekends required. This position does require in-person attendance and is NOT hybrid or remote.

The Expectations:

· The Customer Service Representative will be…

o Responsible for the entire order to customer processing

o Providing timely and accurate communication regarding customer inquiries, processing orders, providing price estimates, scheduling shipments, confirming order delivery, etc.

o Must be familiar with order-related documents such as Invoices, POs, BOLs, SDSs, CoAs, etc.

o Responsible for being the first point of contact for all customer complaints

o Provide conflict resolution for customer complaints

o Becoming a subject matter expert on certain customer accounts or customer projects

o Servicing both internal and external customers

The Experience & Education:

· 4+ Years of Customer Service/Inside Sales Experience, REQUIRED

· Chemical/Oil/Gas Industry Experience, REQUIRED

· INCOTERMS Knowledge, REQUIRED

· MS Excel (Intermediate) Experience, REQUIRED

· ERP Experience (MS AX, SAP, MS D365), REQUIRED

The Benefits:

· Work week is Monday through Friday, no weekends.

· Hourly pay is $25-$27/hr, depending on experience.

· This is a temp to hire role with weekly pay during temp period.

· Optional Meador Staffing benefits during temp period.
